San Cisco + Thelma Plum
Thanks for the dreamy San Ciscan night San Cisco. We loved every moment, including the gorgeous guest appearance by Brisbanite and home favourite, Thelma Plum, and the high energy Perth punks Boat Show. Images by Matt Palmer. Tiv-folk Kat McCulloch wrote great words to accompany a great evening:

The forever-celebrated Friday night was finally upon us, bringing with it the incandescent San Cisco in all their glory. Doors opened, allowing the almost annoyingly beautiful crowd to mosey on in, eat some snacks and have a few ice-cold beverages. First to the stage was the Perthian band Boat Show, who gave us those garage pop-punk sounds we’ve all been craving, with bangers like ‘Cis White Boy’ and ‘Staying Alive’. Next we were treated to the ethereal Thelma Plum, our very own Brisbane gal who certainly did not disappoint.
Then to the main event: known to the staff as ‘the only 3 minutes you have no-one to serve’. San Cisco stepped onto the tropically decked out stage with a chorus of cheering from the crowd. Giving us the dance inducing, up-beat melodies and oh so sweet vocals we’ve come to know and love, with songs such as ‘Too Much Time Together’ and ‘SloMo’, the crowd was begging for more at every turn. We knew we were in for a treat, but it’s safe to say the crowd and staff alike received the ultimate satisfaction from these beautiful bands!
