Richard Clapton
Tivoli friend and colleague Simon Langford-Ely snuck backstage with his trustiest of trusty lenses to capture a glimpse of Richard Clapton as he played to a sit down audience. There was nothing but love (and bourbon) in the air for this legend of the rock and roll era. He took the light-hearted heckles and the offers to meet up afterwards all in his stride, playing a set that went over the heads of anyone born after 1981. Still, after a short encore he returned to bang out his signature "Girls on the Avenue" at which point NOBODY could dispute his greatness.
